Raiders vs Blitzz (DR vs. PR) in Football!!!

Dominican Football League
For all of you that are interested the Dominican Raiders, and the Dominican Football League (LDFA), will be hosting their first international competition of the year against the Carolina Blitzz, from Puerto Rico. It should be a fun game and will be the first of 4 international competitions the Raiders are planning to host this year. The game will be on 9 February at 6pm at the Estadio Olimpico Juan Pablo Duarte. And you can read about the Raiders and Blitzz here...enjoy

He's older and probably slower than his prime, but the Raiders should consider recruiting Jarabacoa's newest resident. Cobraboy was a QB for the NY Jets.

LOL!!! And if they wear leather helmets and run the single wing I'd be right at home...

Heck, I'd call George Blanda a pup.

I was the poster boy for "Good enough to get there, not good enough to stay long"...

I WOULD like to go check these guys out. I need a Dominican Raider hat, for sure...:cheeky:

Cobraboy? A Jets QB??? We need details!!! DR Tampa fill us in. I'm saying, we'd love to have some ringers, no matter how old!!! Still Cobraboy, DRTAMPA, all of DR1, we'd love to have you at the game...the more fans the better!

It's my laptop, I still have my wireless interweb connection. They came and packed everything up today (Jimmy and Timmy, the cats, are very concerned something is up), and will empty the house tomorrow. I'll camp at Mom CB for a week or so tieing up loose ends, hope to be down later next week.

Narcosis, I am not the "he" you refer to, but I do know who he is. The "Second Coming" as I recall ;). I was rather insignificant in the scheme of things. The guy who knew me best there was Dr. Nicholas, the team orthopod and sports medicine pioneer, I got hurt.

Mr. Lu, what is the schedule? I can't make the 2/9 game, but would very much like to come to the others. I could use me some DR football. Heck, I coached as a grad asst. in college (the Middle Ages), would be happy to lend support.

I need me a Raider hat.

That's Ok Cobraboy...We have a game tournament/game coming up against Canada and or PR and Panama in March. The dates haven't been set, but once I have details, I'll post.

Sorry...I thought you may be #14., don't be so modest even Broadway Joe knew the Dr. well.
