Re: Information on moving to the Dominican Republi
I have stayed in the Dr for 10months working as a Scuba instructor. Although the Dominican system is quite lax once you are in the country. One of the best and quickest ways to get your citizenship papers is through the local legals once you are in the DR. Go to a lawer who has been recommended to you by a fellow Ex-Pat. But you still can wait for almost a year and the cost on average is around 1000US$.
Best of luck and I hope you enjoy living in this part of paradise.
