We're not a traditional family. My daughter is the only one still living home; she's 22 years old. Mom here still likes discos and night life, so is this resort for us? And thank you so much for your response.

The Dominicus Viva Resort is one of the best resorts in the DR. It has a lovely beach, great food and the crowd is usually a young set of fun-loving Europeans. It has its own disco, but note that this resort is isolated, so you will only have as fellow dancers the staff and the guests at the hotel. If your mom wants lots of different discos in one place, we suggest she visit Playa Dorada, Puerto Plata. There's 14 hotels in this walkable resort enclave.
