Real Estate in the DR

Can anyone tell me if there is such a thing as multi-listing for DR real estate on the horizon? I know that there are Remax's & others. I also realize, after reading many postings here, that the majority of offerings are to be had on a local level (in spanish). Is there a problem with real estate reps working together? Has anyone ever tried it? I've seen the same properties on realtors websites for many months running. Dominicans are pretty tech savvy people, whatsupwiththis???

Unfortunately to the states, the realtors over here do not work together, or on very rare occasions! So to see lots of possibilities you would have to go with various companies or check on yourself! Not even the Remax offices are working together! We have Remax Metropolitano and Remax Santo Domingo and some signs here in the capital are even from some Remax offices from outside of town - just imagen!

For the other part, market is pretty slow, so it is not a problem seeing individual properties listed for month due to low demand! You might find something you like and can make a good price!
