Couple leaving April 10-17th from Cleveland, staying at the Riu Bambu in Punta Cana, booked thru Apple Vacations. Anyone else going at that time?

We're leaving from Cleveland and going to Punta Cana April 10-17 but we are staying at the Allegro Bavaro Resort. This is a family vacation. My husband and I and our 3 children (14,12 and 10). Are you scuba divers by any chance?? If so, do you know anything about diving in Punta Cana?
