The Taino is a really nice resort surrounded by 4 other riu resorts. It is approx. 1/2 hour taxi ride from the Punta Cana airport. This resort is directly on the beach and the food is pretty good. Taino has a great entertainment staff as well as walking distance to the resorts shared disco called "pachas", I have always stayed at the riu complexes and have never had any complaints. The complex is made up of small cottage like structures and looks really quaint, any questions please look at the web site I have listed below.
