How much can a hospital charge before admitting a patient with DR insurance
This questions has come up with several friends lately.
Seems you must have a someone sign for responsibility for you as well
But I have heard of hospitals demanding as much as 100,000 pesos for admittance even though the person has full DR health insurance
Seems that is not legal ? And what if you are on death's door ?
Health care here, as elsewhere, has become questionable as to what they are really interested in doing.
It does not seem they are concerned for patients, but in maximizing revenue.
