The Russian Ministry of Foreign Relations has confirmed the official meetings of Sergey Lavrov to Santo Domingo on Wednesday, 30 April 2025. He is scheduled to meet with President Luis Abinader and Foreign Minister Roberto Alvarez. During his visit, he will inaugurate the Russian Embassy in the capital city.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Relations says the visit marks the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both countries.
