The Renaissance Jaragua Hotel on George Washington Ave. (Malecon)has a crap table. The Inter-Continental Hotel, about 150 yds. from the Jaragua also has a crap table. I've played both and the Jaragua is the best.

You can play in either U.S. dollars or pesos. One word of advice: If you throw $100 U.S. dollars on the crap table, exchange for peso chips and win a bundle, you will not get paid out in U.S. dollars at the cashiers cage. This happened to me one night at the Jaragua. I played in pesos and won over $400. in U.S dollars. They would not let me exchange the peso chips for U.S. dollars at the cage, so I was stuck with over 7000 pesos. Not so bad, except I was leaving the country the next day at noontime. Even the little Currency Exchange in the casino said they did not have U.S. dollars to exchange and said they were only obligated for 1/3 the amount that I had originally exchanged at the airport coming into the country.

Still, of all the games in the casinos, the modified versions of poker, blackjack that is not true Atlantic City rules, - craps is still the only game where you have a legit chance of making some money.

Another word of advice: The crap table dealers are not Las Vegas or A.C. quality. More than a few seem to have been bitten by tetse flies and are in another world. So watch your money carefully on the table.
