SDQ to SJU?

Hi,

I'm in San Francisco, and trying to plan a trip to the DR (and maybe PR as well). I was able to find an excellent JetBlue fare one-way from Oakland to SDQ, and another great one-way coming back from SJU to OAK, but the short hop one-way from SDQ to SJU is looking problematic (AA wants ~$300 for this!). Are there any small operators servicing this route, or there a way to get a discounted fare when purchasing from the island itself?

Actually, I should modify this request by saying that anywhere from within the DR to San Juan would work...

I'm in the same situation, SLC-SJU has a really cheap price right now, but AA wants more than $300 for SJU-SDQ...I'd rather book SFO-FLL and then FLL-SDQ in Spirit.

Same here, I need SJU to SDQ. However, I'm considering the ferry. Problem is that it only operates on certain days.

It looks like that is the best fare you'll find. Since AA is the "only" trusted airline that flies that route. You might be able to find it for $250 depending on the time of travel
