My friend and I are also staying there in March. There have been lots of comments and bad publicity about it, because people had gone there when it wasn't fully ready. We too have booked this hotel departing 24 August from Manchester. Will you be there at the same time. We have read quite a few negative reports of the hotel but are reserving judgement as they have a few more months to get it right. This will be our 6th trip to the Dom Rep but lst to this area. We have always had a marvellous time on previous holidays.

Unfortunately we will have left by then, but I share your views that by the time we go, everything will be fine !
Sirenis Hotels seem to have a good reputation elsewhere.

Thanks for your reply, I agree that the problems were due to just opening - in fact if you look on the Sirenis site itself, it was only due to open this month. So I am not surprised it wasn't ready. (if you look at the spanish speaking site you get more pictures).
I have looked at the site you recommended, Thanks.
