Someone shut off the traffic lights in the capital city

As has happened in the past, traffic lights on major capital city roads was all of a sudden out. This happened on Friday, 30 August 2024. The National Transit and Transport Institute (Intrant) has yet to issue an explanation. It would the situation was but an infringement of national security and there should be consequences.

Ground Transport Agency (Digesett) agents were posted on city streets, but these have always had a bad reputation in helping traffic flow. Traffic jams thus were more and longer on Friday.

An apparently poorly negotiated contract with the supplier, at least from the point of view of those who commute in the city, made headlines two years ago, with the Procurement Agency sharing details of the costly contracting in violation of local laws. The Executive Branch would change the director of Intrant yet nothing more was heard and today the conflicting...

Was the traffic flow better without the lights? Hard to imagine how it could be worse.
North Korean hackers maybe?

It was back up as of yesterday and they are in the process of resetting time allotments.

I didnt think these lights were used for traffic ...I thought it was just for Christmas Season ......ignored the rest of the yerar
