Spain to Waive Visa Fees (Schengen Visa)

BLS Global, the Vsa Application Center for Spain in the DR, has announced that those who were unable to use their Shengen visas due to the pandemic, will have the fees waived if they wish to reapply.

NOTICE
For Schegen Visas issued from 12/01/2019 that were not used as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Spanish Consulate General will facilitate the issuance of a new visa, exempting the payment of consular fee. The applicant must do it the payment of service charges at the visa application center (VAC) and present the following documents:

• Confirmation of appointment at the VAC
• Copy of previous visa (issued as of 12/01/19 and not being used)
• Schengen application completed
• Travel reservation (maximum 6 months before the travel date)
• Updated travel insurance (covering new travel dates)

IMPORTANT:

It is mandatory to request an appointment for each applicant.
The applicant must bring their printed quote. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to access the VAC.
The use of a mask is mandatory to enter the VAC.
It will be attended strictly respecting the day and time of the appointment. If you do not respect punctuality, you will not be attended and you must request a new appointment.
The entrance of companions will not be allowed.
