Staying at Bahia Principe Levantado...feedback?
Cayo Levantado
Hi:
I've never stayed at the hotel on Cayo Leventado but I understand the rooms are very nice. The island itself if very pretty with some nice white sands beaches for relaxing and swimming. I'm assuming you are on an all inclusive plan? I went out there on a day trip and found the food and drink a bit over priced however you are a captive audience and have no choice. I found Cayo Levantado to be beautiful but a bit of a tourist trap. In all, though, I think staying at the hotel there would be a great experience.

My wife and I stayed there some time ago. It is a nice romantic island and very beautiful. The food, drink and service were good. The rooms are big and clean. You can walk around the island in about 20 minutes, its that small. Specialty restaurants were also very good. I would not go now as the cost is just crazy. There is a apublic beach on the island as well with Dominican bars and restaurant huts. Enjoy your stay.
