I've seen him almost every day for years, but last week someone must have paid him extra and he was singing - in all the years I have never once heard him sing. Well, I should say trying to sing, it sounded like someone running over a cat very slowly. I think instead of keeping quiet and singing when people pay him, he should sing all the time and stop when people pay him, he would make a lot more money that way.

In the video, the scratchy noise was not him singing. He had something on the ground next to the wall playing music. Sound quality not good even when standing there.

Like I said, he doesn't usually sing, but this particular day he started singing. It was truly awful.

You told me the train was coming, you said the tracks were broken, you mentioned that the bridge was out and I still watched this train wreck...

The times I pass through la Zona Colonial I notice there are a lot of people in El Conde, among which a lot of tourists as well. I don't understand why still they haven't managed to keep storefronts open during the day. Nothing uglier than a pedestrian 'shopping' street with all the store fronts closed with metal shutters.

It is a mess. I was there several days last week, first time I had been there in a few years. I was shocked at how forlorn the Conde is.

People tell me things will pick up considerably once the Colonial Zone renovation is finished. I hope so. It should help a lot. Those businesses on streets that are torn up must be suffering. I hope they can survive.

I walked all through the Colonial Zone while in Santo Domingo. Based on what I saw, I think it will be worth visiting when it is done.

 Humorous! Michael in rigor mortis. RIP! The truth is for a first time I would stop or look if passing by. I might even tip him. After all, that is what he is doing trying to fetch a Dollar. Ah, once would be Ok. But along the same line the music is going at one speed and he is going another :) . Hey after all, he has memorize the steps.
