Sus manos.-

Hello,

I have a letter that starts as follows:

Senor.
(Mi nombre)
Sus manos.-

Por medio.....and then the body of the letter.

Now my question is how does this part "Sus manos" of a letter translate? I cannot imagine it translates literally, yet it is common in letters here.

It's one of those old conventions, something like delivered "by hand".
