Swimming pool repair

My swimming pool has been empty for a while. Small cracks have appeared. What is more noticeable is that the pool appears to have been cast in two parts. The sloping base and part vertical extensions to the side walls , first and then secondly the side walls themselves. There is a marked line ( or cold joint) showing between these two ... similar to a very small seam which I believe is passing water. I've had problems in the past with the inter-connecting pipework with broken pipes , probably caused by some ground subsidence. Controlling "plastic lever ball-valves" also become siezed over a period of time. Of course everything is glued together ! Because I have been "cloned" with my English Engineering experience I have had to replace them complete with Unions either side in the event of further replacement !
However, my question to DR1'ers ... is there available in the DR., or has anyone had experience of, a Rubber or Epoxy material that can be painted on and over these cracks and fault lines to prevent leakage. ? I have seen some products available in the USA but don't know if they are available here ?
I have searched previous blogs concerning swimming poos and repair , but could not find an answer.
Thanks for any help given.

I spoze if it was me, I would grind out the cracks and cover it with Diamond Bright. The reset is just work cutting out the valves and replacing them. For a really cheap and quick fix, you could just calk all the cracks. I use calk around my skimmer ever couple years as it develops leaks. Depends on how far you want to go and how much money you want to spend. Don;t shoot the messenger!!! Cheers!
