Question: Is the Taino Bar still open. When we were there in July it was open but had very little patrons. I also understand that they were closed down almost two months after they first opened due to some discrepancies with the previous owner. It looked like they just opened back up mid July, so I just wondered if they were still in operation.

The Taino bar has nothing to do with the Vodoo lounge that just closed.
The Taino bar is diagonally accross from the entrance to Casa Marina beach's entrance.
It's always been slow and I do not know if it is still open, as I seldom drive by there.

Taino bar is open to my knowledge. it opens at around 5pm till 12am weekdays and 2am weekends. The owner is my friends and I am sure they are still in business. I was there a few weeks ago and had a few drinks inside. They were open at around 5pm.

I need to tell him to reconsider his friends. (Just joking Aftab). He comes in here on a regular basis to use our wireless and told me that in spite of the new operating hours, the bar is open and doing OK.

Conchman I suspect you are trying to jerk one of your bud's chains on the Voodoo being back open....whatever. Either that or....hmmmm....don't know.
Unless you're talking about Vancouver or ....
