Mirador Norte is the name for the sector between Romulo Betancourt and 27 de Febrero around Nunez de Caceres. Unlike Mirador del Sur and Mirador del Este, Mirador Norte is not a park.

You hit the nail, that"s exactly what I am talking about...the block where Rancho La Campana used to be.

That reminds me of the time I went to see an apartment in Malecon Center, and there was a column in the center of the living room and another one in a bedroom.

Talk about an elephant in the room. The agent acted like it was completely normal to have a columns in the middle of rooms.

Oversize stripper pole ? :rambo:

Santo Domingo sits on a fault line!
THE WHOLE ISLAND HAS A LOT OF EARTHQUAKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
cccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc

we saw what happened to Haiti. i just know that an earthquake of that magnitude would flatten buildings like those, what with the marvelous construction techniques here.

No problem. I am sure they have building codes and enforce them to stand up to the forces of nature.
