Taxi fare - POP to SDQ

Hi,

What is the going rate for a taxi from Puerto Plata to Santo Domingo airport?

Have decided thats the transportation mode that im going to take and just want to double check prices.

It was $170 US from Boca Chica, so minus $18 would be $152, I'd have to think under $150 easy unless gas etc. is so bad they are charging a lot more.

At least US$150 these days because dollar so low and gas prices so high.

Thanks for all your responses, ive got a quote for US$135 each way so i'll go with that because it seems to be a fair price and im happy with that.
