I don't know how much better Thai food can be in Thailand-and I hope to find out once I am rich enough to fly myself all the way to Thailand- but after trying the food at the Blue Elephant (fresh ingredients flown daily from Thailand) I was hooked. Too bad there are not Thai restaurants in DR, the nearest one is in Old San Juan in Puerto Rico, the food is pretty decent.

Now the good news, Restaurant Salon de Te has a Thai menu on Thursdays. The address is Max Henriquez Ure?a 20, S.D. Call for reservations at 540-8080. Seeya there.

there is a new thai restaurant called Eurasian, it is located at the Exteriores plaza in Roberto Pastoriza ave.
