Durante un operativo en el Ensanche Espaillat, tres extranjeros en condición irregular intentaron huir lanzándose desde un quinto piso. Uno falleció y dos resultaron heridos.

During an operation in the Ensanche Espaillat, three foreigners in irregular condition tried to escape by jumping from a fifth floor. One was killed and two were injured.
The DGM regrets the incident and clarifies that the staff acted in accordance with protocol, without using force that would endanger the lives of those involved.
A video with the testimony of one of the affected is already analyzed, while maintaining the commitment to human rights and respect for the dignity of people in each operation.

A Haitian killed and three hurt after jumping into the vacuum to avoid migratory detention in Santiago
A Haitian citizen was killed and three others were seriously injured after jumping from the fourth level of a building on the Espaillat Ensanche, in Santiago province, in an incident that occurred this Friday.
According to witnesses, the foreigners were trying to avoid being detained by agents of the General Directorate of Migration (DGM).
The incident was recorded in a retirement building located at the intersection of Streets 7 and 13 in the mentioned neighborhood.
Foreigners worked as construction workers in Santiago. So far they have not been identified by the authorities.
The body of the deceased was picked up by the forensic physician and transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) for appropriate procedures.
