Hello,

Could anyone suggest a tour company in the region of Samana? I will be staying in the area fairly soon and would like to see my tour options.

terry bandi also does tours (toursamanawithterry) and is a dr1 poster

there are quite a few local tour companies in the area. we took an excursion with tortuga tours in las terrenas a few years back and i would say it was worth the money(we did the los haitises tour) they are located where the main road meets the ocean at a kiosk in the passeo mall parking lot across from the cemetary. good luck and enjoy your stay, ben

The new zipline in Samana is open!!! Go from Samana city direction Las Galeras. Several minutes outside town go to the right, direction Playa el Valle. 5 km further you will find it. You can not miss it. 2 large wooden towers at both sides of the entrance. And its spectacular!!! More spectacular than the zipline in Punta Cana. 14 lines !!!! Hiiihaaaaaaaaaaaaa..... Tarzan is coming.....
