I checked their webiste and they don't seem to list Punta Cana as one of their destinations!

I did more digging and I founf this map and it does list Punta Cana as a destination. However no information on it!!

same here try to check on their website but seems they stop fliying to punta cana is there any other airline for regular flights or charter from russia ? my girlfriend is planing to come to the dominican in june and we are trying to find the cheapest airline out there everything seems to go over 1,000 euros.

Amadeus is a reservation system. What aviastar wants to say, that even if the information is not on the airline's website, it is in AMADEUS (one of the several reservation systems), so travel agents and other airlines can book tickets on that flight.

This means the flight will operate as aviastar posted, regardless if the airline's website is updated with that information or not.

Aviastar, can you send this fellow "romito" published fare for that route?
Let's send him some booking classes and availability, so he has something on hand if he decides to contact the airline.

Only tickets can not be issued for Transaero flights MOW PUJ MOW, these flights are paid by touroperators who sell a tourpackage. Price per roundtrip is about 900 USD

Transaero does not sell tickets to public. Only to travel agencies in bulk. And agencies sell them only in package with AI hotels in Punta Cana.

Not anymore. Now it is a regular flight, available to book via Amadeus, so anyone can buy a ticket at any IATA agency.

OK.
At least three months ago they did not.

Also, their flight arrives to Punta Cana half an hour after the departure of the only local flight to POP and the traveller must spend 23 hours in Punta Cana and then to pay $150 for round trip Punta Cana - POP- Punta Cana. That makes the trip from Moscow to POP 35 hours in length and $1200 in cost.

Take a bus to Santo Domingo and from there to Puerto Plata. You'll be in in 8 hours and at much smaller cost.
