BABEL FISH ?cojinete de la rueda
And are you going to tell us what the correct word was?funny thing is the Dominican Mechanics use the spanglish words...
like bearing si always "berin"
bushing is always "busin"
etc...
so "cojinete" would not work
I already found out the answer myself by going to "repuestos" and showing them the "part printout" from internet
but thx anyway
And are you going to tell us what the correct word was?
How do you translate "wheel bearing" into dominican mechanic's spanish?
"Caja de bolas" de la punta de eje... Also referred to as la Pi?a...
You're not saying anything different from us.Caja de bolas is NOT "pi?a", according to what I was said... "caja de bolas" is a part of "wheel assembly hub" which is "pi?a"
I saw a book at the repuestos that said "wheel assembly hub" in English, and had a handwitten - pi?as - on it
To my further questions, I was told "PI?A" contains "caja de bollas", "roller bearing", and all other stuff... it's like a mechanical AI :cheeky:
From further online investigations I learned that "wheel beraings" now (199X onwards) come sealed in what is known as "wheel assembly hub".
