Transport from Punta Cana to Las Galeras.

Hi there,
I need reliable and on budget return shuttle between PC and Las Galeras.
Any suggestions? Ifound 65 USD but ot seems too pricey for me :)

Take a 'guagua' to Sabana de la Mar and then the ferry over to Saman?.
Another 'guagua' will take you out to LG.
Reliable?

Ok, I will ask the question? Why are you flying into Punta Cana if you are going to Las Galeras? It should not be $650usd but it probably will be a lot of money. Is this for a round trip? You might be better off to rent a vehicle and drive yourself but there is no real direct route from PC to Las Galeras.

Flights are significantly cheaper to Punta Cana airport and we would like to stay 4 days over there as well and then travel to Samana. We don't drive so renting the car is not an option.

Flights are significantly cheaper to Punta Cana airport and we would like to stay 4 days over there as well and then travel to Samana. We don't drive so renting the car is not an option

If you read my other post you would've know that that was an typing error...it is obvious that it could not have been 65 USD. No point to be patronizing....

OK, well that makes a little more sense. If I were you though, I would go to Las Terrenas and not Las Galeras. Las Galeras is difficult to get to if you have to rely on others. From Punta Cana/Bavaro you can take the Bavaro Express bus line to Santo Domingo and then Transporte Las Terrenas. If you want someone to drive you you will pay big bucks to get to Las Galeras. It is at the very end of the Samana Peninsula and a long haul from PC. You could probably have your hotel in Punta Cana help you with transportation arrangements to the Samana Peninsula. If I were you with a one year old I would probably just stay in PC and save the other trip for another time. Good luck
