I'm not sure on the airfare, you can check on AA.com.I can tell you that it costs about the same as it cost for me to fly from Hartford, CT to San Juan, which is 250-300US, average price. I have tried to do two legs and save, forget it, they have you by the balls. It is actually a little more between San juan and Punta Cana, but I'm sure that applys anywhere in the DR. I'm sure the ferry would be much cheaper if you have the extra time, question is? where does it come in, west coast is no good, you would have to work your way east to San Juan. I assume that's where your going out of.lilcanadiangal said:Just a question about prices for you experts! (Sorry to hi-jack, but it's related :nervous: )
About the ferry, how much would that be and where does the ferry leave from?
And about the flights, what do they normally cost on average?
When I get back to the DR, a trip to PR is something I'd love to do eventually. The ferry would be an incredible experience..I'm just curious about the price difference between that and a flight.
Thanks so much,

Ferry is more money.ggn420 said:I'm not sure on the airfare, you can check on AA.com.I can tell you that it costs about the same as it cost for me to fly from Hartford, CT to San Juan, which is 250-300US, average price. It seems like Pan Am flies from from SJU to SDQ and PJU. I didn't realize that they are still in business.ricktoronto said:AA has all the flights except I think one a day on a no-name local airline you couldn't pay me to fly on. If you are not in a rush there is also a ferry service.
More than 300US....??Must include your vehicle..eh? If not it's a rip-off, just like the air fares from SJU to the DR anywhere...........................Hey Escott, I hear you have been talking to a "mutual" friend................Escott said:Ferry is more money.
