I was wondering if anyone has travelled US Airways from Toronto through Philadelphia to SD. I had a bad experience in December with AA via Miami and wanted to try a different airline. Any info would be appreciated.

I have traveled US Air From Santo Domingo to Boston thru "Philly",round trip several times.It is the same flight from "Philly" to Santo Domingo and visa/versa.I had no problems. The flight leaves "Philly" early enough to avoid trouble.Never connect thru Miami after about noon.They start to back-up,and you have to walk about 2 miles to get to the Dominican flights! All airlines have problems from time-to-time.Stay away from Newark too! Criss Colon

UsAir service is better than AA!! There is the whole Philly layover, but I agree it is better than Newark.

AA has to be the worst airline I have ever flown. Criss, you are so right about Miami, my flight to SD was in the afternoon (three hour delay) and I got my workout for the entire week moving through the terminal. It took me 14 hours to get from Toronto to Santo Domingo in what should have taken 6 1/2 hours. It was still worth all the hassle in the end spending New Year's in the DR.
