There is a park called Villa Olga near the new hospital. They are giving the vaccine and true to Dominican culture they have no idea of the rules. They told my friend that you can get the shot with your passport if you are over 65.

Don't know how long this will last but maybe this help someone in Santiago today.

The rules in Puerto Plata were passport or cedula and at least 60 years old. I was there.

No evidence one is better is all aspects at this point.
More important to get some vaccine, get the protection, and in the future you can ponder the choices for boosters.

I still would prefer a different one, but beggars can't be choosy. According to Turkey the Sinovac works just fine.
