The beach outside often disappears and when it's there it's not safe for swimming. However, Cabarete main beach is only a short walk away.Looking for something for two or three days at Christmas that isn't too far from the airport. Stepson is flying in from Canada on the 24th and want to stay off the road. We usually stay at the Grand Ventana but willing to try Cabarete area. We like quiet and good food, safe swimming beach, doesn't have to be big.
What business is that? And while you are there, On the corner of highway 5 there is a great local restaurant, their Paella de Marisco is legendary.

Best in Cab. ,Restaurant and view are awsome.
and what about those cramped spiral staircases to the 3rd floor, as this floor seems to be the only one available to non-members of their owner's clubZero beach and dinky pool.
you can request any floor you like. Being a small boutique hotel, they accommodate most requests. The hotel is also far enough off the main road, so you don't hear the traffic. Best place on the North Coast to watch the sunset.and what about those cramped spiral staircases to the 3rd floor, as this floor seems to be the only one available to non-members of their owner's club
