Could anyone recommend a veterinary practice in Santo Domingo. I recently purchased a pup and she will need spayed.

Dr Pichardo, located right behind the Americana and Ikea Store, number 809-541-6007, tell him Anthony with the parakeets sent you...They also have some pet supplies and food, but just up the road about one street or so is a pet store only for dogs, cats, horses, you name it..ask for Pedro if you go there..

this is cheap, no? we did our epileptic cat, crazy for 4k pesos (last year) and that homeless skank cat who now lives with us for 5k (c-section included). so 2.5k for a female dog is not bad at all.

I had Paca fixed there a month or so ago. Qualified vets come in once a week to offer discounted service which is why it has to be done by appointment.

I have three males two of whom can reach if she went into heat so I've avoided having a houseful of puppies.

I'll rehome her if the right person comes along. If not she can stay forever.
