Video on pizza, food, restaurants from a New York perspective on Sosua/Cabarete

This is very good. 100% on the money. Although I was waiting for the narrator to have an MI halfway through the video. Takeaways:
1. Bad Mozzarella cheese
2. Inconsistent
3. No heart in it on the part of the owner
4. Hit or miss on meats, fruits and veg at the supermarket
5. Good in concept/online, poor implementation
And yes, you can screw up home fries/hash browns and eggs and it's done all over the place as well.

I bought some hamburger in Playero two weeks ago, and when I cooked it it smelled off. Even my dogs wouldn't touch it. The meat in Jumbo is better.
The food in Sousa is poor but there are some decent places where the food is mediocre and is edible.
Cabarete has some decent places but to drive 20 miles round trip doesn't make sense

The state of the french fries and the pizza.
I try to imagine him buying the big "pie" at Grandma's in NYC, slicing it up and freezing it for consumption in Sosua.
As he is summing up and preparing to sign off, he says you get what you pay for, then he says he's cheap and only goes for the cheap girls.
I can't help but wonder what his girlfriend of 6 years thinks about that.

For sure, I am not from NY City, but I concur with his assessment on pizza here in the DR.
The pizza from my home town is even better than his.
Yeah no matter what he eats he is most likely down to his final meals. Maybe he finds food so bland because he is a chronic smoker or has Covid and lost his sense of taste ?
He's a typical New Yorker. They love to complain.
