Hello, My husband and I are planning a trip of about 10 days in the Dominican Replublic in November. We are Currently living in the USA with a visa status on a French Passport. Our travel agent has asked us to make sure that French citizens do not need a visa to enter the republic. Thus our question is: do we need one and where do we have to request it in case of needed? Thanks in advance for any answer.

You do not need a visa to enter. You may do so with a valid passport and the purchase of a tourist card. The airline may sell you the tourist card at the airport. If not, you may purchase this upon arrival to the DR. Have handy a US$10 bill and a pen to fill out the form.
