My family will be traveling to the DR next spring for the first time, for them. (I have been there 10+ times)

Something I think my dad and brother would enjoy is to visit one of the training camps. My DR husband and I have driven by some camps (I remember KC Royals, Red Sox signs) on Highway 4 (not the one near the ocean, but more inland), I think, on the way to Boca Chica. Does anyone know if is it possible to visit any of these?

THANKS!!

I don't know about visiting the camps, but we pass one every time we drive to Palenque Beach from Najayo Beach, I'm pretty sure it's the San Diego Padres. I often wonder the same thing. There's a pretty big sign at an entrance road - it must be inland quite a bit because you can't see anything from the main road.

there are more than 20 Baseball academics from MLB. In my opinion worth a visit:
Baseball city, in Boca Chica, this is the largest academic and host about 4 mlb teams, Cincinnatti Reds, Chicago Cubs, Arizona Diamondback and other team, not remember right now.
Las Palmas (Dodgers) the oldest academic. and Boston Red Sox, both located in Guerra, close to intersection of Carretera Mella and Samana highway in Santo domingo.
NY Mets, in Boca Chica (very modern)
San Diego padres, Carretera Najayo, san cristobal
Atlanta Braves, San Fco Macoris.
