So I've told that things are going to happen with Viva Air. Has anyone in the Dominican Republic heard advertising......seen operations open, etc. Just looking for a hookup from far away. Thanks in advance.....
"Rook"

If you haven't gathered by now there is a bit of skepticism about Visa maybe based on the 900 previous grand openings that didn't amount to a (small) hill of beans. I hope the college fund is not in this.

I hear VIVI is doing a reverse split.
If you liked it @ .19 you will love it @$ 4.75.
Who knows it may soon be shortable!

Since when is filing an annual report as a public company a "positive news event?" Do they even have the resources to print them?

It was said "tongue-in-cheek". They didn't file on time (and had an 'e' added to their symbol). They just recently filed and the 'e' was removed.

Do you understand what The "E" means?
Before the "E" they were not even worthy of Nasdaq!

Yes.

"Fifth letter of a Nasdaq stock symbol specifying that an issue has not met the reporting date for the company's SEC regulatory filing requirements."

Although a rookie investor, many companies get an "E" assigned to their symbol for a delay in filing. Many companies trade and do very well on the OTC pinks and OTC BB. Also, the "e" was removed within days of it being assigned. That still doesn't make them an airlne...........When I first posted this question, I was just seeking some info from people who resides in the Dominican Republic.........Just doing some networking to see if this thing has a chance or what? Just lookin' for some honest info........Thanks to all.

Given the quality of supervision by the aviation authorities in the DR (and why the FAA won't let a "real" Dominican airline come near the USA) I am not sure the Dominican-ness would add them or scare passengers away. Since Viva such that it is is an American company how it is a Dominican airline at all is a bit of a puzzle. Not that it actually is one but if it were.
