Low-cost carrier W2fly has announced 18 weekly flights on routes connecting Madrid and several cities in Portugal with the Dominican Republic. This move is part of a strategy to strengthen air connections between Europe and the Caribbean, amid growing interest in Dominican tourist destinations.
The route expansion starts in July with new direct flights from Madrid and major Portuguese cities to various Dominican cities, including Santo Domingo, Punta Cana, Puerto Plata, and Santiago.
