Weather in DR in April&May

How is supposed to be the weather like in DR in mid-April? When is it less rainy in May or April? Thanks.

HI Mary There is always a chance of a little rain in April, just as it is back home but usually it rains for short periods of time and mostly at night. In my opinion May is the nicest month of the year weatherwise. Have a great trip!!!
