Wondering what the weather is like in January in Santo Domingo. Also could anyone tell me how long of a ride it is from the airport to Santo Domingo.

It will be hot and sunny with not much rain (it rains a bit more on the North Coast in January). I am assuming you are referring to Las Americas airport - it should be about 30 - 45 mins. depending on traffic.
