Weather in Puerto Plata - December

Hi,

Can any one tell me what the typical temperatures are in December? We have been to Puerto Plata in September and October many times but are coming in December this year. I am assuming the days will still be hot, but what about the evenings?

The days will be in the 80s, but the evenings in the 70s, so bring a light jacket or sweater.
