we want to know what the weather has been like in end november,begin december. we want to go to punta cana or bayahibe.
because all the travelbrochures say november/december lots of rain.
Help please

Actually that is our Snow Season. We get Nor'westers all the time and have to put on our clothes or die of the cold. You would be amazed....

Hey!, this is the tropics!.. We are hot, hot, hot all the time. So it rains a bit. You can get a terrible sun burn in the rain, did you know that?? And in the East (Punta Cana) the rains are brief, followed by _sun, sun, Sun!!!.

Here in Santiago, the Central Valley of the Cibao used to be known for a misty rain that came over the northern mountains, but we haven't had them in recent years.

Do not worry about the weather. Worry about how many kilos you will be putting on at the AI you will be staying at.

hello hillbilly,

thank you for your answer. It is just that our travel agents told us that is is the rain seasons. We could expect lots of rain.

I have been told probably to expect a short heavy rainshower in the evening.

I am going to book our holiday next week, probably casa del mar resort at bayahibe. Got any experience with that resort. Last time we went to bavaro village at punta cana. this was in march and it was fantastic. had lots of food, but did not put on any kilo's.
