Santo Domingo is hosting the International Association of Destination Wedding Professionals 2025 Destination Wedding Congress from 26 to 29 May 2025. The IADWP describes itself as the leading authority in destination weddings. The congress is an opportunity to connect with a global community of professionals.
The conferences on the program and business appoints are mostly happening at the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino on the Malecon in Santo Domingo. The Kimpton Las Mercedes is another venue for participants.
As part of the program, the participants have the opportunity to visit several wedding venues and attractions in the Colonial City and boutique hotels.
