Hello!

I attend a Mediaeducation in Sweden and we are just about to take a trip to the Dominican Republic. We will produce a film about a typical wedding in town (Cabarete for example) or on the countryside. We will also make a film about the situation for the Haitian people in DR.

I would really apreciate if help to get in contact with these two subjects in some way.

If you want to film a typical wedding of some Europeans or Americans, Cabarete would be the right place to. To get some typical pictures about dominican weddings (I mean Dominicans) maybe you watch out for Santiago d.l.C. There you have the possibility to meet the real dominican life. Away from tourism and any influence of foreigners. Also it's the second largest city of the Dom.Rep. To find Haitians you don't have to look for very long, because, they are living and working in the streets of this town.

What do you think about to film poor children, working on the garbage dump? Come over here, you might get some help from us.
