The Jack Tar has nice weddings, they have a casino & watersports....no kids allowed though, I'm not sure about the age limit or teens... in the (Playa Dorado/Puerta Plata area). Debbie's Dominican travel page has a section on weddings too.... http://www.debbiesdominicantravel.com

good luck!

I know that Gran Ventana does weddings. They have a special pavillion just for the purpose. I think I have seen a price of US$450 someplace but can't be positive of that rate. I believe that a wedding supper and room service (breakfast) for the newlyweds is part of the package.

There is no casino on the premises but there are 2 nearby. The beach is very close. There are also pools graduating from ankle depth to about 5', as well as a separate "kiddie" pool which is probably less than 2' at the centre and watched all the time.

Debbies web site referred to in the previous message may give more precise details.

While vacationing one time, I saw 3 different weddings take place at the Paradise Resort (Playa Dorada Complex in Puerto Plata). Really done well, beautiful resort, on the beach, great pool, excellent food, it's a 4* and has a casino and disco on the premises. Teenagers would love it! Sorry don't know the phone #.

You have a number of good answers.
Let me add to it. If you are from Canada as suggested by your ISP. Sunquest vacations offer wedding packages at many resorts and group discounts are available. Check out their website (attached) and send them an email to info@sunquest.ca requesting information about weddings and group departures.
