There is a season for avocados and mangos. When they hassle right and left at the traffic lights to sell you avocados, that is the avocado season. The same goes for mangos. Some avocados and mangos are available all year round in small quantities (expensive and bad quality) because some introduced varieties (special plantations as Walker puts it) are harvested off season with poor results. The season for avocados is September to January, and for mangos, like Dolores said starting in April-May and ending around August. Both fruit trees are in their late flowering stage right now. Come to the DR any time of the year and eat bananas. There is no season for bananas!! Thank god
