Which bus and how do you find the schedule

I've tried to figure this out but hoping someone can help:

We have a friend in Santiago who wants to meet us in Bayahibe. He'll travel by bus. He'll make his way to the Capital first but then, is it possible to take a bus to Bayahibe?

Ideally, he'll meet us in Bayahibe and then, on the return a few days later, he'll return from Punta Cana back to the Capital.

I see 2 companies: APTPRA, and Expreso Bavaro to get between Santo Domingo and Puna Cana, but I can't figure out if these routes are direct (without stops), or if he can take one of them to Bayahibe.

Is anyone familiar with this route by any chance? Or, is there another company?

Hi. Take this one between PC and SD. Stops a few times, but is a nice ride. As for Bayahibe it has nothing to do with that trip.............

I would suggest he take the La Romana Expresso (Asomiro Expreso Romana) to La Romana and then a taxi to Bayahibe.

I could be wrong, but when we were staying in Dominicus we were told people had to bus from SD to La Romana, then a bus to Bayahibe

Good idea. Another one is just to bite the bullet and take a taxi from PC. Only a 45 minute ride........

Ok, perfect. Thank you! I thought that La Romana Expresso wasn't operating anymore. I couldn't find any information about it.

Yes, to La Romana and then taxi to Bayahibe might be best for him/
