I am going to be in LT next week and would like feedback on the following three choices of hotels. Alisei is not an option.....more than what I want to pay. Just my wife and I, won't be spending a lot of time at the hotel....will be sightseeing and spending time at the beach. My choices are as follows...

1. La Dolce Vita
2. Palococo
3. Hotel Colibri

The prices are all similar....just wanted opinions on which is a nicer play to stay and positives and negatives on each. Thanks!

Don't know two of them

Not sure about the other two but Colibri is owned by the same people who built Alisei - a very very fine place, lovely people, beautiful beach, great staff.

I think - but am not certain- that Palococo is right in town?- yes? if it is the one I am thinking of it has a great restuarant, but in LT, you really want to be on or near the beach.

The other, I don't know.

hope this helps.

Which Hotel at Las Terrenas ?

I don't know the Palococo. Dolce Vita has a good reputation but the tropical garden and the swimming pool at the Colibri are gorgious, and so is the beach, I would not hesitate.
Enjoy your holiday

I agree, La Dolce Vita is OK and located very centrally. There are good
restaurants and beaches nearby.

Colibri has a lovely beach right in front and a nice restaurant and there
is probably less noise than La Dolce Vita at night.

Alisei is by far the best hotel in terms of quality. Remember that you get
what you pay for.

Good luck
