New York has a couple of Spanish-language FM stations, all but two aimed at Dominicans. The Dominican-aimed ones are “Amor” which plays bachata and reggaetón, “Mega” and “X” go face to face running salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaetón and dembow. There's lots of space for a music intensive classic style tropical station here in NY, and no one is going for it. It would be pretty profitable, as long as executed in a similar manner to stations like Zeta 92.3 in Miami or Viva-FM in Orlando.
