Wi Fi Spots In SD??
There is a thread on DR1 about hot spots.
Just come over to the Courtyard and sit in the lobby. Have some free coffee and wi-fi. I love this place!

It is quite feasible to have Wi-Fi and admire the beautiful sites that this country has to offer.
Try the lobby of Jaragua to the left of the coffee bar.
I am fairly sure parts of Plaza Acropolis are still wired, near Fridays and The Verizon store.

I need to update the list a bit. Hopefully this weekend. My favorite hotspot is the Jaragua.
The Acropolis still had WIFI last I checked but they were requiring a username and password. So if you have a verizon DSL acount you cold get online. . . . .but I could not. Too bad, Fridays could really use a WIFI hotspot.

According to Verizon, it's these 7 easy steps!
1. Colóquese a una distancia máxima de 300 pies de la señalización del Hotspot Verizon
2. Verifique que su Laptop o PDA recibe la señal Wi-fi de la red de Verizon. Asegúrese que su equipo cumpla con el protocolo 802.11b de Wi-Fi
3. Especifique que el Service Set Identifier (SSID) sea “Verizon”
4. Ejecute su buscador de preferencia (ej: Internet browser) donde le aparecerá el portal de bienvenida de Flash Móvil Wi-Fi..
5. Digite su cuenta de acceso Flash (Ej. : claudia.garcia)
6. Digite su contraseña o password y presione enter
7. Espere que su cuenta sea validada por nuestro sistema e inmediatamente comience a navegar.

On some verizon DSL acounts you get Flash WIFI included. You use the same username and password as you would use with your DSL email acount which most people never use. You can call verizon and ask the username and password. Password is normally the telephone number. If you have that info you can get online at Verizon hotspots.Escott said:
