Womens clothes size...

Hi Everyone,

Wondering if the DR clothes sizes (specifically for women) are same as North America?

My Dominican girlfriend provided these sizes:

Dress - ML
Pants - 27
Shirt - M

I would assume that that the ML means medium-large, the M is medium. Pants 27 is equal to a size 4-6

I find that most clothes here run small. The last time I shopped for clothes in a store I got a xxl shirt it seemed lie a medium. Some things I got in a place that sells the clothes in the packs were the sizes I was used to in usa.
