The Caribbean tops the list of requested destinations that customers are booking through travel agents, according to a survey recently conducted by Infosystems, an independent fulfillment company.
In a regular monthly survey of 34,000 travel agencies conducted by Infosystems, agents were asked to select the top three destinations for their customers. Out of the 52,053 responses during the last 12 months, 12,114 travel agencies indicated that the Caribbean is among the top three destinations. Mexico, which also has a Caribbean connection, was the second leading destination. Florida, Hawaii and Europe followed in that order.
